As a child Patrick dreamt of just two things; scoring the winning goal for England in the World Cup Final and singing Italian Opera in a huge Opera House. He actually achieved the latter. Oh yes, as a boy, Patrick sang Italian Opera in a deep voice. So strange was this, he appeared on many a TV show and sang at the San Carlo Opera House in Naples!

One of his first jobs was doing talks at Scarborough Sealife Centre about Seals, Sharks and Starfish. Once a kid came running in and told Patrick his mate had found a ‘baby whale’ and was bringing it in to show him. Next minute, said kid turns up with a Porpoise that had beached itself nearby. "I’ll just pop that in a tank then" said Patrick!

Away from the radio, Patrick loves playing and watching football, running and travelling. He’s also a bit of a geek with what his friends call ‘obsessions’ with things like palm trees, the weather, the sea and cruise ships. He also runs ‘Ocean Promotions’ doing Discos and Videos for weddings and parties as well as a tourist website for Scarborough. He’s married to Lizzy and has 2 gorgeous kiddies Isabella and Leo.

Patrick has worked on radio stations here, there and everywhere, but hasn’t taken the hint yet, so here he is at Viking FM!

"I love getting stuck in! I've abseiled off the Holiday Inn tower at St. Stephens, run the Humber Bridge Half Marathon and sailed a huge barge round Goole Docks during my time here so far! Starting the Clipper Race in 2009 was a highlight and welcoming the teams home was great too! So many people watching what was a great spectacle for the area! I love getting on stage too so hosting Freedom Festival, Brid Bash & Hull Christmas Light Swicth-On's have been amazing fun! I am also doing "Paddy's Pab Party" every couple of months so keep an eye out for us taking over a pub near you soon"
